Faithing

a teaching rhyme
by Jerry Collier

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb 11:1 (KJV)

“Faith” is a verb,
an actionable word,
that when you first heard
you became.
In this verb stay,
seek Him and pray,
and “faith” out each day
in His name.

“Faith”, as a noun,
is where you are found
when “faithing”
is what you do.
Fully embrace
and live in God’s grace;
and your “Faith” will see
you through.

“Faithful”, the term,
not wavering but firm,
describing the way we
should be.
Faithfully stand;
be resolute and
when that day comes:
You will see!
