Worship Him

Worship imageListen,
you hear it?
Rejoicing above,
where worshiping angels
pour out their love,
where creatures and elders
worship His Name,
honor with singing
the One who was slain?
They never give way.
They never retreat,
but shout out their praise
round the merciful seat.
Never a hindrance,
disruption or pause,
resounding through ages
down heavenly halls . . .
glory and majesty,
honor and praise;
mercy and justice,
Your marvelous ways.
Wisdom and knowledge
with gladness and thanks,
from heavenly ranks”

So join the celestial
chorus and raise
your voice to the King—
Shout out His praise!
Though earthly experience
may hold
and defeat,
heavens cantata
declare and repeat—
The war has been won.
all ye people
in Jesus
God’s Son.
The evil is vanquished;
your sins washed away.
Join with the masses
with shoutings of yea!
glory and honor,
His splendor to laud,
riches of wisdom;
His mercy applaud.
Holy and Righteous,
the One on the throne;
throughout all eternity
pour out this song—
I love you,
extol and adore.
Thank you
my Savior
forever and more.
I love you . . .’”

~JD Collier
